MONTICELLO, Ark.–
Will Adler scored 19 points and grabbed six boards,
Alex Brown scored 18 points with seven boards, and
Ramses Sandifer turned in a monster 16-point, 12-rebound double-double off the bench, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (2-6, 0-3 Great American Conference) fell to a late rally by Arkansas-Monticello (5-3, 2-1), falling 75-72 on Saturday afternoon at Steelman Fieldhouse.

- Arkansas Tech returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 12, hosting Southern Arkansas at Tucker Coliseum. A 7:30 p.m. tip-off is scheduled.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- A barrage of 3-pointers pushed Tech ahead early, but UAM rallied with some deep balls of their own to go ahead 11-9 with 15:34 remaining in the opening half.
- The two teams traded leads with UAM surging ahead by as many as eight (39-31) in the closing seconds of the half before an Adler 3-pointer pulled Tech to within five (39-34) at the break.
- UAM twice pushed its lead to nine, leading 49-40 at the 16:22 mark of the second half before Tech rallied to reclaim the lead at 53-52 on a Sandifer layup with 12:59 to play.
- Tech led by eight (72-64) after a four-point play was converted by Adler with 2:42 remaining, but UAM erased the Tech lead with an 11-0 run to close the game.
NOTABLES
- UAM outshot Tech 50.0 to 40.6 percent from the floor and held a 36-35 rebounding edge.
- Freddy Lee dished out six assists.
- Tech had a 20-12 advantage in points off turnovers, and a 12-8 advantage in second-chance points while UAM led 32-24 in the paint and 9-5 on fast break points.
