RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. –
Lyrik Williams turned in her second 20-point performance in the last four games,
Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse turned in a 15-point, five-rebound effort, and
Kylie Ladd added 14 points and five boards as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns (13-2, 9-2 Great American Conference) rolled to an 84-67 win over Ouachita Baptist (9-7, 5-5) on Saturday afternoon at Tucker Coliseum.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams were scoreless over the first three minutes of the contest, with OBU's Maija Gerstone finding the inside of the basket first at the 6:56 mark of the first quarter.
- OBU pushed its lead to six points (8-2) nearly two minutes later after a 3-pointer by Madison Brittain.
- The Golden Suns pulled back, tying the game with 1:59 to play in the opening quarter with a 3-pointer by Stackhouse, and Tech took its first lead of the contest just over 20 seconds later on a Jacie Higgins layup.
- Tech's 19-17 advantage carried through the end of the opening quarter.
- The Golden Suns controlled the opening moments of the second quarter, stretching the lead to as many as seven (28-21) four minutes into the quarter.
- OBU came back, pulling to within one (34-33) at the end of the opening half.
- The Tigers' Shakyla Begnaud hit a layup in the opening seconds of the third quarter to give OBU its first lead since the first quarter at 35-34.
- OBU's lead was short-lived, however, as Williams hit a layup on the next possession to give Tech the lead and the Golden Suns slowly pushed forward, claiming a seven-point (57-50) lead with 23 seconds left in the quarter.
- The Tech lead grew to double figures in the fourth quarter as Stackhouse hit a pair of free throws to give Tech a 61-51 advantage.
- The Golden Suns' lead hit 21 points – the largest of the game - at the 4:25 mark after a Kylie Ladd 3-pointer, and the Suns held on for the victory.

- Tech held a 38-32 rebounding advantage, and forced 19 OBU turnovers.
- Tech made the most of its trips to the charity stripe, connecting on 14 of 17 free throws while OBU was 10-of-17.
- The Golden Suns held a 15-13 advantage in points off turnovers and a 17-10 advantage on second-chance points.
