RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech women's basketball will be featured on the NCAA's Division II Basketball Showcase Monday night, as the Golden Suns battle Harding in Searcy. The Great American Conference contest, scheduled for 5:30 p.m., will be streamed live on WatchESPN or the ESPN app.

ALL-TIME SERIES

Arkansas Tech leads the all-time series against Harding, 45-13. Harding has won 11 of the last 12 meetings, however, including two regular-season and two postseason wins last season.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN SUNS

Arkansas Tech (10-2, 6-2 GAC) suffered its second loss of the season last Thursday at Henderson State, but the Golden Suns responded with a 73-69 win over Southern Arkansas in Russellville on Saturday. 

Jayana Sanders leads Tech with 15.4 points per game this season. Over the last five games, however, Lyrik Williams has averaged 16.4 points and 10.2 rebounds. The Golden Suns lead the GAC in average scoring margin (+15.5), turnover margin (+4.25) and steals (12.2). 

SCOUTING THE LADY BISONS

Harding (6-10, 2-6 GAC) earned just its second conference win of the season on Saturday, defeating Ouachita, 84-56. The Lady Bisons have lost four of their last five GAC contests, including a 65-58 loss to Southern Arkansas last Thursday. 

Sydney Layrock leads Harding with 10.9 points per game, followed by Kelly Lampo with 10.8 points per game. Harding ranks fourth in the GAC, just behind Tech, with 72.4 points per game as a team. The Lady Bisons boast the best rebounding margin (+10.6) in the conference, and Harding leads the GAC in blocks per game (5.3).
