NO. 19 ARKANSAS TECH TRAVELS TO HENDERSON STATE TUESDAY

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - No. 19 Arkansas Tech looks for its 17th consecutive win on Tuesday, as the Golden Suns travel to Arkadelphia to take on Henderson State at 6 p.m. The victory would mark the best start to a season and fourth longest win streak in program history.

The Golden Suns are 33-26 all-time against Henderson State, after splitting two matches last season.

Arkansas Tech (16-0, 3-0 GAC) opened the Great American Conference season with a 3-0 win over Southern Arkansas on Sept. 12, before defeating both the GAC preseason favorite and runner-up, Harding and Ouachita, in straight sets last week. Tech has won 12 of 16 matches in three sets, and the Golden Suns have not lost the third set in a match this season.

The Suns are one of just 10 remaining undefeated teams in Division II, and no program has more wins than Arkansas Tech. The Golden Suns currently lead the nation in kills and assists. Four Golden Suns average over two kills per set, with Hunter Eshnaur's 3.00 kills per set leading the team and ranking fifth in the conference. Amanda Milnick leads the GAC with 10.30 assists per set, while Greer Rogers tops the conference with 1.28 blocks per set.

Henderson State (9-7, 2-1 GAC) hosts Arkansas Tech after splitting two matches in Austin, Texas on Saturday. The Reddies dropped their first GAC match of the season to Harding in straight sets on Sept. 12, but Henderson State bounced back with wins over Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas last week. The Reddies rank third in the conference in kills and assists per set, while HSU leads the GAC with 19.68 digs per set.

HSU's Courtney Bolf currently sits second in the conference with 3.65 kills per set, and Sydney Skelton's 5.74 digs per set leads the GAC and ranks 27th in Division II.
