RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech defeated its second nationally ranked opponent of the season on Tuesday, taking down No. 15 Central Missouri in five sets. Amanda Milnick led the Golden Suns with her second career triple-double, and she is now one of just seven players with at least two triple-doubles in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tech earned the first three points of the first set and did not surrender the lead for the rest of the game.
- The Suns later extended their lead on a 5-1 run to take a 15-8 lead, and Arkansas Tech eventually took the set with five consecutive points to win, 25-15.
- Central Missouri was limited to a -.097 attack percentage in the first set but bounced back with a .433 hitting percentage with just three attack errors in the second set. Arkansas Tech led for much of the second game, until an 8-2 run by the Jennies put UCM ahead, 17-13. Central Missouri went on to win the set, 25-18, scoring the game's final four points.
- Tech used a 5-0 run in the third set that featured back-to-back kills by Milnick to take an 11-9 lead, and the Suns held that lead until Milnick ended the game with another kill to give Arkansas Tech the 25-21 win.
- The Golden Suns struggled offensively in the fourth set, committing 10 attack errors. Tech took a late 20-19 lead after three straight points, but Central Missouri answered with six of the final eight points to force a fifth set.
- Arkansas Tech's offense took complete control in the final set, tallying nine kills and just one error for a .500 hitting percentage. Tech opened the set on a 7-2 run before eventually taking the match with a 15-10 win.

- Arkansas Tech stretches its win streak to 11 games, five games shy of the program record for consecutive wins to start a season of 16 games set in 2008.
- Tech finished the match with a .234 hitting percentage, while Central Missouri was held to hit just .144. The Golden Suns set season highs with 67 kills, 57 assists and 80 digs in their first five-set match of the season.
- Five different players recorded at least 10 kills for Arkansas Tech, including Lexie Johnson and Hunter Eshnaur who tied for a match-high 14. Eshnaur added 10 digs to record her 31st career double-double and second of the season.
- Milnick set season-highs with 44 assists and 11 kills, and she also added 15 digs.
- Madison Nagel led all players in the match with 22 digs, followed by Meredith Darnell's 14 digs.
