RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team will take to the court to open the 2017 season Friday, squaring off against Washburn and Emporia State at the Washburn University Capital Plaza Invitational in Topeka, Kansas. 

The Golden Suns will face Washburn at 1 p.m. and conclude with a 5 p.m. match against Emporia State.

Tech will play a four-match slate this weekend, concluding play Saturday against Pittsburg State and Drury before opening the home portion of the schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 5 facing Bacone and Williams Baptist.
