Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Coming off its first loss of the season against Dallas Baptist on Saturday, the Arkansas Tech women's tennis team (7-1) bounced back with a 9-0 win over the Ouachita Baptist Lady Tigers (0-8) in a non-conference road match on Tuesday afternoon.

• The Golden Suns will travel to Springfield, Mo. for a pair of non-conference matches. Arkansas Tech will take on Northwest Missouri State (0-2) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, followed by host No. 20 Drury (9-0) on Sunday at 11 a.m. All matches are set to take place at the Cooper Tennis Complex.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Golden Suns began doubles play with a strong showing from the pairing of Teresa Sanchez and Annabel Rowlands who won the No. 2 doubles match 8-1.
• The doubles duo of Haeleigh Long and Vandella Suico followed, winning No. 3 doubles 8-1 as well.
• Haeleigh Long won every point in her No. 6 singles match over Samantha Boyd 6-0, 6-0. The Suns as a team won in straight sets in all six of their singles matches.
