Box Score RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team (6-1) challenged No. 40 Dallas Baptist (6-2), but ultimately fell to the Lady Patriots 5-3 Saturday afternoon at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex.

- The Golden Suns will travel to Arkadelphia, Ark. for a non-conference match against Ouachita Baptist on Tuesday, March 7. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. start time at the Craig and Kim Ward Tennis Center.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After dropping the first doubles match, the No. 1 doubles team Macarena Sedano Acosta and Tamara Bell bounced back with a 8-3 victory to tie the match up at 1-1.
- The No. 2 doubles pair of Teresa Sanchez and Annabel Rowlands went toe-to-toe with DBU's Liz Slaughter and Mikayla Rinker but ultimately fell 9-8 in a tiebreaker.
- After falling behind 3-1 in singles play, Acosta and Bell each picked up victories in singles play to tie the match up at three apiece. However, the Suns dropped the next two singles matches to close out the day.
