Justin Graham turned in a 19-point performance,
Alex Brown and Bennie Lufile both added 14, and
Montrell Williams added 10, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (21-7) was unable to overcome the solid 3-point and free-throw shooting of the Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils (23-5), falling 88-79 on Saturday night at Bruin Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Boll Weevils jumped ahead early, scoring the game's first six points.
- The Wonder Boys quickly took control, outscoring UAM 23-11 over the next eight minutes to claim a 23-17 lead with 8:31 remaining in the half.
- Tech pushed its lead into double figures, grabbing an 11-point (32-21) advantage on an Alex Brown jumper with 5:57 to play in the opening half.
- After UAM cut the Tech lead to four (38-34) in the closing minute of the half, Montrell Williams buried a 3-pointer to stretch the Wonder Boys' lead to seven (41-34) at the half.
- Arkansas Tech stretched ahead in the opening minutes of the second half, going ahead by nine (54-45) after another Brown layup with 14:14 remaining.
- Tech led by as many as nine (57-48) with 13:47 to play, but UAM went on a 14-3 run to claim a two-point (62-60) lead with 8:33 to play.
- After the Wonder Boys retied the game on a pair of free throws from Grant Prusator with 7:46 remaining, UAM used a 16-5 run to grab a double-digit lead with under four minutes remaining.
- Tech pulled to within seven four times down the stretch, but was not able to get closer as UAM held on for the win.

- Brown and Lufile grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
- Tech outshot UAM 46.9 to 45.3 percent, and held a 39-38 rebounding edge.
- The Wonder Boys outscored UAM 38-32 in the paint and 15-13 on points off turnovers, while UAM held a 13-11 advantage in second-chance points and a 15-11 advantage in fast-break points.
