VAUGHAN FIRES SECOND STRAIGHT SHUTOUT AS TECH SPLITS WITH SOUTHERN NAZARENE

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Morgan Vaughan fired a one-hit shutout – her second consecutive shutout – in the series finale to help the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (18-10, 12-4 Great American Conference) salvage a doubleheader split with Southern Nazarene (7-19, 4-12), falling 1-0 in the day's opener before capturing a 6-0 win in the finale.

  • The Golden Suns head to Shawnee, Oklahoma for a four-game series against Oklahoma Baptist next weekend. Friday's doubleheader is set for a 4 p.m. start and Saturday's doubleheader is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
