Dylan McDearmon in the top of the 10
th inning, the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys defeated the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm, 5-4, on Friday, the opening game of a three-game series.

- With the win, the Wonder Boys remain one game behind Southern Arkansas for the top spot in the Great American Conference standings.
- Wheeler gave Tech the first lead of the contest on single to center field in the fourth inning.
- After the Storm tied the score at 3-3 in the eighth, Wescott's sacrifice fly gave the Wonder Boys a 4-3 lead in the top of the ninth inning. SNU tied the score once again, however, sending the game to extra innings.
- In the top of the tenth, Wilson singled to left center, and McDearmon followed with a double to score Wilson from first. Bowling then stepped on the mound and pitched a perfect tenth inning to secure the win and earn his second save of the season.
