Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team (7-3) battled with 20th-ranked Drury (11-0), but could not come up with the road victory as the Suns fell to the Lady Panthers 7-2 Sunday afternoon at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo.

• The Golden Suns will close out their three-match road stretch, as they will travel to Siloam Springs, Ark. on Tuesday, March 14 for a rematch against John Brown. The match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at the JBU Tennis Courts.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Suns again got off to a tough start to begin the match as they fell behind 3-0 after doubles play.
• Tamara Bell won her eighth consecutive singles match to move to 8-0 during the spring season with a 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 victory in the No. 2 doubles match. Between the fall and spring seasons, Bell holds a 12-4 mark in singles play.
• Annabel Rowlands picked up a win in the No. 5 singles match to move to 13-4 overall on the year.
