Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team (7-2) fell behind 3-0 after doubles play and couldn't quite muster enough of a rally in singles play as the Suns fell to Northwest Missouri State (1-4) by a 6-3 score Saturday afternoon at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo.

• The Suns will return to the court tomorrow to take on No. 20 Drury (10-0), starting at 11 a.m. at the Cooper Tennis Complex.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Golden Suns got off to a rough start as all three doubles teams dropped their matches to fall behind 3-0 in the match.
• No. 1 singles player Macarena Sedano Acosta picked up a default win and No. 2 singles player Tamara Bell won 6-3, 6-1 over Aniek Kolen to draw the deficit to 3-2.
• However, the Suns would drop three of the next four matches with Annabel Rowlands being the only other Golden Sun to win a singles match.
