Montrell Williams scored a team-high 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while
Justin Graham added 18 points, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (20-6, 16-6 Great American Conference) was unable to overcome timely 3-pointers from Southeastern Oklahoma (12-16, 8-14 GAC), falling 89-81 in the regular-season finale on Saturday at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tech opened the game on a hot streak, outscoring Southeastern 9-2 over the first three minutes.
- Southeastern rallied, using an 8-0 run to claim the lead on a Kyle Roberts 3-pointer at the 14:34 mark.
- The two teams went back-and-forth, but Southeastern Oklahoma pushed ahead slightly, grabbing a 20-15 lead at the under-12 media timeout (11:45).
- With the Savage Storm holding a three-point (20-17) advantage with 11:26 remaining, Southeastern scored the next eight points to open its lead up to 28-17 with 8:53 remaining in the opening half.
- The Wonder Boys raced back, outscoring Southeastern 11-2 over the next three minutes to pull to within two (30-28) after a Montrell Williams 3-pointer, forcing a Savage Storm timeout.
- Out of the timeout, Williams buried another 3-pointer to put the Wonder Boys ahead (31-30) with 5:04 to go to the half.
- The Tech run went to 12-0, giving the Wonder Boys a 34-30 advantage with 4:13 to play in the half.
- The Savage Storm scored the game's next eight points to claim a four-point (38-34) lead with 2:02 to play.
- The Wonder Boys were able to pull to within two within the final minute, but a layup by Southeastern's Tyler Lonzie with four seconds remaining sent the Savage Storm into the break with a four-point (40-36) lead.
- The Savage Storm opened the second half with a bucket to stretch its lead to six (42-36) but Tech kept Southeastern close and came back to knot the game at 44-44 after a Montrell Williams layup with 17:22 to play.
- Grant Prusator gave Tech a 49-48 lead at the 14:43 mark after a 3-pointer.
- The two teams traded leads over the next few minutes, with the Wonder Boys opening a four-point advantage (61-57) with 10:43 to play.
- Southeastern Oklahoma closed the gap yet again, knotting the game at 60-60 the 9:29 mark on an Anton Cook jumper and pulling ahead 61-60 on a Cook free throw at the 9:00 mark.
- The Wonder Boys reclaimed the lead and pulled ahead by three (70-67) after a pair of free throws by Montrell Williams at the 6:42 mark, but Southeastern tied the game just 50 seconds later on a 3-pointer by Bobby Johnson.
- A jumper by Grant Prusator at the 2:11 mark gave Tech a two-point lead, but the Savage Storm converted a 3-pointer to pull ahead, and stretched its lead to six (83-77) in the final minute of the contest and held on for the win.
