RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech volleyball will close out the 2017 regular season on Thursday, hosting Ouachita at 6 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum. Tech will honor its two volleyball seniors, Alyssa Kool and Madison Nagel, before the conference match. 

Arkansas Tech will be giving away $100 to the Greek organization with the most members in attendance, and $100 will be given to the non-Greek organization with the most members in attendance, as well. A red parking hang-tag will also be given away during the match. 

Fans are encouraged to bring canned meat to donate to River Valley Food 4 Kids, as part of Tech's Fight On Against Childhood Hunger Campaign. Donations will be collected in the north entrance tunnel to Tucker Coliseum.

No. 9 Arkansas Tech (31-0, 15-0 GAC) clinched the Great American Conference regular-season title on Tuesday, defeating Harding, 3-2, in Searcy. Harding had three match-point opportunities in the fifth set, but the Golden Suns answered each time and escaped with the win to maintain their undefeated season. 

The Suns are one of just two undefeated teams remaining in Division II, and Tech has clinched the number-one seed for the GAC Championships beginning on Nov. 16 in Hot Springs, Ark. Arkansas Tech currently ranks eighth in the NCAA Division II Regional Rankings, despite ranking ninth in Division II's national poll. 

Ouachita (19-10, 9-6 GAC) has won its previous four matches, including a 3-1 win over Southern Arkansas on Tuesday. The Tigers have secured a spot in the conference tournament and are currently fighting for the fifth seed. Ouachita dropped this season's previous match against Arkansas Tech, as the Golden Suns defeated the Tigers in three sets in Arkadelphia on Sept. 21.
