RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - No. 10 Arkansas Tech opens the second to last week of the 2017 regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 31, as the Golden Suns travel to Monticello to take on UAM at 6:30 p.m.
Arkansas Tech (28-0, 12-0 GAC) remained atop the Great American Conference standings with a 3-1 win over Henderson State last Thursday, keeping a one-match lead over Harding. The Golden Suns dropped a set in a home conference match for the first time this season against the Reddies, but Tech's season-high 10 service aces and Amanda Milnick's second triple-double of the season helped the Suns extend their record-breaking win streak to 28 matches.Â
Arkansas Tech is one of just two teams in Division II with a team hitting percentage of at least .300, and the Suns lead Division II with a .091 opponent hitting percentage. Lexie Johnston leads the conference with a .401 attack percentage, while Milnick ranks second in the GAC with 10.64 assists per set. Greer Rogers averages 1.12 blocks per set, second-best mark in the conference.

UAM ranks 10th in the conference in team hitting percentage (.144), seventh in opponent hitting (.188) and third in service aces per set (1.54).
