Anissa Pounds scored a game-high 18 points, while
Cheyenne North added 12 points, 10 boards, seven assists, five blocks, and three steals as the No. 13 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns (10-1, 6-1 Great American Conference) rolled to a 66-49 win over Southern Arkansas (3-8, 1-6 GAC) on Saturday at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams traded leads over the opening five minutes of the game, with the Golden Suns using a steal and fast-break layup by Calli White to take a 7-4 lead with 4:56 to play in the opening quarter.
- SAU reclaimed the lead for the first time since the 5:56 mark of the opening quarter at the 51 second mark on a layup by Kimberly Crown.
- Calli White banked home a half-court 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the first quarter to give the Golden Suns a two-point (14-12) lead.
- Anissa Pounds buried a 3-pointer at the 8:55 mark of the second quarter to give the Golden Suns a 19-14 lead and force a Southern Arkansas timeout.
- A White 3-pointer on the subsequent possession pushed Tech's run to 8-0 and lead to 22-14.
- Tech claimed a nine-point lead, a 29-20 advantage with 2:06 remaining in the half – Tech's largest lead to that point.
