RUSSELLVILE, Ark. – The No. 5 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns (37-4, 27-3 Great American Conference) got a dominating performance from
Jalissa Gum in a 2-0 game one win, but dropped the second game of the doubleheader 7-5 in a back-and-forth battle against No. 23 Southern Arkansas (32-5, 24-5 GAC) Friday afternoon at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex.

- Gum was just one of two Suns with a hit, going 1-for-3 on the day with a 2-RBI triple in the third inning that proved to be the only scoring for the game.
