Teresa Sanchez notched a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles over Alex Makashov to provide the deciding point as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team downed East Central 5-1 in the semifinals of the Great American Conference championship tournament on Friday.
The Golden Suns swept the doubles points, and grew the lead to 4-0 with a straight-set win at No. 6 singles by
Laura Sanchez before ECU notched its first point at No. 5 singles.
