RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The No. 2 seed Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team (10-12, 4-3 Great American Conference) is set to compete in its fifth consecutive GAC Championships this weekend.
 
This year's GAC Championships are being held at the Bentonville Convention and Visitor's Bureau from April 21-23. With the second-seed, the Golden Suns have a bye and will await the winner of the No. 3 seed East Central/No.6 seed Southern Nazarene match on Thursday. Tech's match is currently slated for Friday, April 22 at 2 p.m.
 
The Suns are coming off a big victory over Henderson State on Sunday, defeating the Reddies 5-4 to clinch the No. 2 seed in the tournament.
