RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech (7-8, 1-0 Great American Conference) returns to GAC play this weekend, as the Golden Suns will travel to Bethany, Okla. to take on Southern Nazarene (1-6, 0-2 GAC) on Friday, April 1 at 2 p.m. and then face Oklahoma Baptist (12-2, 1-0 GAC) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Suns are coming off a dominating home performance against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday, sweeping the Golden Lions 9-0 in a match where Tech did not give up a single point.

The Southern Nazarene match will feature two of the best individual players in the Central Region, as No. 12
Macarena Sedano Acosta (8-7) will likely matchup with No. 16 Noelina Gomez in a battle of two top 20 players in the region. The No. 5 doubles pairing of Acosta and
Tamara Bell (11-4) will also face a fellow regional top 10 in Gomez and Polina Chala.

Tech will have another tough challenge with Oklahoma Baptist, who is the third-ranked team in the Central Region with the seventh and eighth-ranked individuals along with the third-ranked doubles team in the region.
