RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team (6-8) returns home for the first time in nearly a month to take on Division I Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-18) in a non-conference match at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex on Tuesday, March 29. The start time for the match is slated for 2:30 p.m.

The Suns are coming off a strong showing down in Florida last week. After opening the trip with an 8-0 loss to host institution No. 8 West Florida, Tech challenged No. 19 Georgia College in a 7-2 loss and ended the tournament with its biggest win of the season defeating No. 28 Concordia (N.Y.) 6-3.

Arkansas Tech has been playing some strong tennis as late, going 4-3 in its last seven matches with wins against the No. 8 team in the Central Region (Northwest Missouri State) and the No. 3 team in the East Region (Concordia) with the three losses coming against nationally ranked opponents (No. 8 West Florida, No. 19 Georgia College, No. 33 Drury).
