  • UTSA finally took its first lead of the second half on an 11-2 run that put the Roadrunners ahead, 87-86, with just over two minutes to play. Justin Graham responded, however, with a three-pointer with 55 seconds left to give the advantage back to Tech.
  • Down 89-87 with 40 seconds left, UTSA netted a layup to tie the score, and after a missed three-pointer by the Wonder Boys, the Roadrunners grabbed the board and took a timeout with 13 seconds remaining.
  • With two seconds to play, UTSA's Giovanni De Nicolao stole the win for the Roadrunners with a layup.
