RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech women's basketball will host Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday for a non-conference battle in Tucker Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN SUNS (2-1, 1-1 GAC)
The Golden Suns are coming off their first Great American Conference win of the season last Saturday. Tech defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State 81-35. The 46-point margin is the largest margin of victory for the Golden Suns since defeating Ecclesia, 100-40, in 2014.
Through three regular season contests, Arkansas Tech leads the GAC in scoring margin and rebounding margin. The Golden Suns' defense has also limited its opponents to shoot just 30.4 percent from the field, lowest percentage in the conference. As a team, Tech has posted a 39.8 field-goal percentage, including just under 30 percent from long range.
Kelsey McClure leads the offense for Arkansas Tech, averaging 12 points per game.
Calli White follows with 11 points per contest, shooting 39.1 percent from three-point range.

Danielle Frachiseur average nine rebounds and eight rebounds per game, respectively.
SCOUTING THE LADY EAGLES (1-3)
Oklahoma Christian earned its first win of the regular season on Saturday, defeating Cameron, 87-83. The Lady Eagles previously lost three consecutive games, including a 62-59 loss to Central Oklahoma.
The Lady Eagles have shot 36.6 percent from the field this season but are allowing opponents to net 40.6 percent of shots from the floor. Sarah Parker leads the offense for Oklahoma Christian, averaging 16.8 points per game. McKenzie Stanford averages 12.3 points and a team-high six rebounds.
HISTORY LESSON
Tech leads the all-time series against Oklahoma Christian, 2-0, with the first contest coming in 1980. The Golden Suns also defeated the Lady Eagles, 81-67, in 2014.
