Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

SUNS' SEASON ENDS IN QUARTERFINAL LOSS

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. Hunter Eshnaur turned in a 17-kill effort, while Madison Nagel had 16 digs and Amanda Milnick dished out 37 assists, but the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team (21-12) fell short in its quarterfinal matchup with Southwestern Oklahoma (14-16), falling 3-1 on Thursday at the Bank of the Ozarks Arena.

COACH BAYER SAYS
  • "I thought that we played hard and gave all of our effort tonight, but we were high-error and didn't take advantage of a lot of opportunities that we had. Southwestern Oklahoma is a very veteran team, they have a large senior group and they came out fired up and ready to go. We made too many errors. I want to thank our three seniors for their dedication to our program… it may not have ended on the note they wanted to, but they've had a lot of success here at Arkansas Tech. Our future looks bright. We have a lot of young players in the starting lineup, a lot of freshmen playing, so our future definitely looks promising.
