Box Score BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Fatima Adams led all scorers with 17 points, but the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns (23-6) were unable to come away with a win in the Great American Conference championship game against Harding (23-6), falling 68-50 to the Lady Bisons on Sunday at the Bruin Fieldhouse.

Momentum seemed to be with the Golden Suns early on, as Arkansas Tech opened the game on an 8-2 run and eventually led by nine (13-4) with 13:30 to play in the opening half. The Lady Bisons chipped away at the Golden Suns' lead, pulling to within two (15-13) after a 9-2 run.

With Tech holding a one-point (20-19) lead with 5:40 to play, the Golden Suns went on another run, scoring the game's next seven points to take a 27-19 lead with 2:13 to play in the half. Harding closed the gap, pulling to within three points (27-24) at the half.

The Lady Bisons controlled the pace in the second half, claiming the lead at the 17:42 mark of the second half and quickly opening up an eight-point (37-29) lead with 15:45 to play.

The Golden Suns were able to pull to within two (37-35) with 11:01 to play, but the Lady Bisons gradually grew their lead into the double digits, and pulled away for the win.

The Golden Suns await their postseason selection fate, to be announced later Sunday by the NCAA. Arkansas Tech is expected to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. For further information, visit arkansastechsports.com.
