Box Score HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Kaylee Konsella turned in a 12-kill effort with a .478 hitting percentage, Emily Todd had a 12-kill performance hitting .286, and the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team hit .310 for the match as Tech (27-5) swept to a 3-0 win over Southwestern Oklahoma (8-18) in the quarterfinals of the Great American Conference volleyball championship.

The win was Arkansas Tech's 19^th consecutive.

"I thought we played well tonight," said Golden Suns head coach Kristy Bayer. "Offensively we were running on all cylinders. It was a pretty evenly distributed offense, and all of our hitters were very efficient, and that's what we need to have going into the semifinals."

After matching 25-16 wins in the first and second sets, the Golden Suns came back with a 25-18 win in the third set to seal the win.

Sierra Nighswonger dished out a match-high 36 assists, while Madison Nagel had 18 digs to lead all players. Nighswonger also turned in a 10-dig effort.

The Golden Suns held a 7-2 advantage in blocking, while reeling off seven service aces to SWOSU's one. Tech outhit SWOSU .310 to .115, hitting at a match-best .378 clip in the decisive set.

Tech awaits the winner of tonight's Harding/Ouachita Baptist semifinal, who will face the Golden Suns at 6 p.m. Friday in the second semifinal matchup. Southeastern Oklahoma will face Southern Nazarene in the day's first semifinal at 3:30 p.m.
