Box Score WEATHERFORD, Okla. — McCall Wilkins and Kaylee Konsella both turned in 10-kill efforts, with Konsella hitting .348 and Wilkins hitting .333, Sierra Nighswonger dished out 37 assists and Madison Nagel turned in a 19-dig effort as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team (19-5, 10-1 Great American Conference) swept to a 3-0 win over Southwestern Oklahoma (6-11, 4-6 GAC) on Friday.

"I'm proud of the way we played tonight," said head coach Kristy Bayer. "During the month of October, it's hard to stay focused, but we have managed to do this. Kaylee and McCall stood out offensively tonight. Emily (Todd), Madi (Nagel), and Kaci (Jackson) were all over the court defensively. We had a lot of time to scout SWOSU, the players really did a good job of working the game plan."

The Golden Suns turned in a dominant 25-15 win in the opening set before winning sets two and three by scores of 25-22 and 25-20.
Tech hit a match-best .353 in the opening set and outhit SWOSU .263 to .168.

Katie Huff had a solid offensive performance, hitting .500 with seven kills, while Jackson turned in a 11-dig, seven-kill performance and Todd added a 11-dig, six-kill performance. Tech had seven aces to SWOSU's three, with Nighswonger, Konsella, and Nagel racking up two apiece.

The Golden Suns return to Tucker Coliseum on Tuesday, October 21, hosting Ouachita Baptist. The match is slated for a 6 p.m. start, and will be "80s Night". Fans wearing their best 1980s outfits will be eligible for prizes.
