Cesiley Rideau

Cesiley Rideau is entering her 6th year at Arkansas Tech University as one of the school's assistant athletic trainers. She primarily works with volleyball and softball while assisting both men’s and women’s basketball and tennis. 

Before coming to Arkansas Tech, Rideau worked on the physical therapy side of an occupational medicine clinic as the functional capacity evaluation coordinator and athletic trainer at McBride Orthopedic Hospital Clinic. Rideau provided outreach at El Reno High School in Oklahoma and also assisted with softball tournaments at ASA Hall of Fame. Rideau worked with physical therapy patients, while doing pre-work screens, and also disability ratings for workers compensation patients.

Rideau is also certified in CPR/First Aid and AED. Rideau, a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association (AATA), decided to return to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2013 to work on her masters of education in Sports Management and work as a graduate assistant for athletic training. She primarily worked with football, men’s basketball and assisted with any other sports coverage as assigned.

Rideau, a native of Spencer, Okla., received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford in 2011.
