A second-team all-Great American Conference selection after hitting .331 with four home runs and 43 RBIs... also smashed 12 doubles... saw action in 53 games, starting 48... smashed his first homer of the season in a pinch-hit appearance at the Houston Astros' Minute Maid Park against Winona State (2/2)... 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs against Tarleton State (2/4)... a perfect 3-for-3 against Arkansas-Monticello (3/14), one of 12 multi-hit and three three-hit games... 3-for-4 with five RBIs against Ouachita Baptist (4/12)... turned in another 3-for-4, five RBI performance against Rogers State (4/15).... entered play against Southern Arkansas on March 21 hitting .254, and went 26-for-60 (.433) over the next month, lifting his season average to .347.
