Michael Milum

Michael Milum enters his second year as the head assistant coach for the Wonder Boys baseball program.

Prior to coming to ATU, Milum served as the head baseball coach at Springdale High School (Springdale, AR) from 2020-2021 where he coached one all-state selection, two all-conference selections and had three players move on to play college baseball.

Before Springdale, Milum served four years as head baseball and assistant football coach at Warren High School (Warren, AR) from 2016-2020. The baseball Lumberjacks posted a 45-43 overall record while making the post season three straight seasons. Additionally, the program produced a host of all-conference and all-state players.

Prior to Warren, Milum served as a graduate assistant at Houston Baptist University (Houston, TX) from 2014-2016. While at HBU his main responsibilities included working with hitters and infielders as well as field maintenance and equipment inventory. His time at Houston Baptist was highlighted by their 2015 run through the Southland Conference Tournament to become Southland Tournament Champions affording them an opportunity to compete in the 2015 NCAA Houston Regional.

A former Wonder Boy baseball player, Milum was a three-year outfielder at Tech from 2010-2013. He would go on to graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and PE from Tech in December 2013. He then graduated with a Masters of Liberal Arts degree from Houston Baptist University in May of 2016.

Milum and his wife, Whitney, have three children, Cooper, Conley, and Mitzi-Catherine and reside in Russellville.
