Golden Suns fall to Lynn in quarterfinals of NCAA DII National Championships

DEARBORN, Mich. – After crossing an historical milestone in program history, the Golden Suns golf team conclude their season after facing Lynn University in the 2021 NCAA DII Women's National Championship quarterfinals.
FINAL RESULTS

The Golden Suns reached the match-up phase of nationals at the No. 7 seed – set to compete in "medal match" play for a chance at the national title. In the quarterfinals the Suns were paired with the No. 2 seeded Lynn University who won the individual competition.
 
The Golden Suns claimed one of the five matches for a loss of 1-4.
 
FINAL : 4-1-0
 
-Katie Whitfield fell to Adriana Iribarren by 16 strokes
-Jose Roberson fell to Alice Gatti by six strokes
-Allie Weiner topped Honor Keilty by three strokes
-Jacqueline Klemm fell to Camila Madariaga by one
-Bhenyapa "May" Buranasiri fell to Helen Kreuzer by six strokes
