RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – With outdoor spring sports underway for the 2021 season, the Arkansas Tech Department of Athletics has issued the following policies and protocols for fans at all home baseball and softball games as well as home tennis matches.
Baseball Fan Protocols – Baswell Field
INSIDE THE BALLPARK
- Chair back seating inside the ballpark will be on a pass-list basis with ATU coaches and players being issued a select number of guest ticket(s) each for each home date.
- Only those with a ticket will be allowed inside the ballpark.
- Home and visiting team dugout and warmup areas will be roped off to prevent spectators from accessing those areas.
- No concessions will be available at ATU home games – No outside food or drinks will be allowed with the exception of water bottles
- Face coverings are required, and proper social distancing is encouraged
OUTSIDE THE BALLPARK
- Open seating for visiting fans and public on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Two sets of bleachers are available on the outside of the outfield fence. One in left-centerfield and one in right-centerfield.
- Vehicles can also back up to the curb behind right field and watch the game.
- Face coverings are required, and proper social distancing is encouraged
Softball Fan Protocols – Chartwells Women's Sports Complex
INSIDE THE COMPLEX
- Fans, home or visiting, will not be allowed inside the complex to watch. The bleachers inside the complex will be used for overflow for players due to dugout limits.
OUTSIDE THE COMPLEX
- Open seating for all fans will be available on the berm on a first-come-first-serve basis
- No concessions will be available at ATU home games – No outside food or drinks will be allowed with the exception of water bottles
- Face coverings are required, and proper social distancing is encouraged
