WONDER BOYS HOST EAST CENTRAL FOR GAC SERIES

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys host East Central this weekend for a three-game Great American Conference series, beginning Friday March 6, at 6 p.m. followed by a double-header Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Wonder Boys are coming off a midweek 8-1 win over Henderson State after winning the final game of a GAC series against Southeastern Oklahoma State, 14-2. Tech has combined for 32 runs and 36 hits in its last three outings.
• East Central has dropped their last four games, including a series to Harding and a midweek matchup against Oklahoma Baptist.
• Tech leads the all-time series against the Tigers 31-15. The Wonder Boys swept last season's series with 14-2, 6-2 and 18-5 wins.
• Shelby Quiggins picked up his second win of the season after going 6.0 innings and allowing one run off four hits.
• Evan Hafley leads the Wonder Boys, batting .343 for the season and has five homeruns. He went 3-for-4 against the Reddies and had five RBIs.
