WONDER BOYS HOST MIDWEEK MATCHUP AGAINST NORTHEASTERN

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys host a midweek matchup against Northeastern State, Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m. at Tech Field.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Wonder Boys fell in Great American Conference series against Henderson State, 1-2. Tech won the first game of the double-header in comeback fashion, 7-5, off two two-run homers from Garrett Kochakian.
• Northeastern State picked up a series win against William Jewel 3-1 in their last outing.
• Tech trails the all-time series against Northeastern State, 36-40. The Wonder Boys won the last two meetings against the Riverhawks, winning 4-1 in 2016 and 7-2 in 2015.
• The Wonder Boys are fourth in the conference, holding their opponents to a .234 batting average. 
• Nick Kovar is at the top of the conference after picking up another save this past weekend against Henderson State. He has three on the season.
