RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.- The Golden Suns split the day on day one of the home opener series against Henderson State. HSU took game 1 (2-5) where Mackenzie Addis and Paige Mendoza homered. The second game Tymber Riley singled to left while Morgan Page scored the error for a one run game (1-0).
 
The Golden Suns are 7-7 overall and now hold a 1-1 Great American Conference record.
