GOLDEN SUNS FIRST HOME SERIES STARTS FRIDAY

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.- The Golden Suns softball team will play their first home series of the season Friday, Feb. 21. Start times have been changed to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Arkansas Tech will face the Henderson State Reddies with a split 6-6 record. Henderson State sits 4-8.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

1. The Golden Suns earned three wins during the Alvy Early Classic last weekend in Bentonville.
2.  The Golden Suns put up a total 46 RBI's in four games.
3. Brooke Prewitt is currently 3rd in the nation in doubles according to NCAA DII records. She's earned 8 doubles and 23 RBI's in the 12 games she's played.
4. Arkansas Tech and Henderson State have a 32-40 all-time record, with the last match in Arkadelphia ending 1-4 HSU.
5. The Reddies have not won a series in Russellville since 2007.
