GOLDEN SUNS HIT THE ROAD FOR BENTONVILLE TOURNEY
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.- The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns Softball team will head to Bentonville this weekend for the Alvy Early Memorial Classic. Dates have changed to Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 15-16.

- Northwest Missouri at 2 p.m.
- Missouri – St. Louis at 4 p.m.
Sunday, Feb 16
- Washburn at 10 a.m.
- Upper Iowa at 12 p.m.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

- Arkansas Tech is coming into this week 3-5 overall. Last week the Golden Suns made a triumphant comeback against Texas Woman's, only short 3 runs to take the lead in the high scoring contest (17-15).
- The Golden Suns go in undefeated against Northwest Missouri (2-3). During their last matchup in April, Arkansas Tech won 11-6 over the Bearcats.
- Arkansas Tech intends to defend their victory over Missouri-St. Louis (1-3 overall). once again after breaking their winning streak (5-3) in 2018. Missouri-St. Louis holds a 3-5 game record with Arkansas Tech.
- Washburn holds a 1-7 overall record coming into the weekend. The Suns have a 2-1 record with Washburn with a 12-6 victory in their last contest.
- The Upper Iowa Peacocks will enter their first games of the season this weekend. They hold a 2-1 game record with Arkansas Tech – with their only victory earned from a 7-8 victory in 2019.
