WONDER BOYS RESCHEDULE HOME OPENER TO SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (1-6) host Ouachita Baptist (2-5) for their home opener of the 2020 season. The games have been rescheduled due to weather. A double-header will be played on Saturday with the first game beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday the teams will play at 1 p.m.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Wonder Boys up their first win of the 2020 season against #4 Central Missouri. Tech took the first game of the four-game series, 3-2 in Warrensburg.
• Ouachita Baptist picked up their second win of the season against Newman, 3-2 in their last outing.
• Tech leads the all-time series against Ouachita, 90-66. The Wonder Boys defeated the Tigers 15-2 and 8-0 in their double-header last season before falling 9-8 in the final game of the series.
• Stormy Taylor and Evan Hafley lead the team this season, hitting .321 and .320 respectively. Taylor has nine hits, including a homerun and two doubles and two RBIs. Hafley has eight hits on the season with one homerun and three RBIs.
• Armando Romero picked up his first win of the season over Central Missouri, going eight innings, allowing one run off four hits and striking out 13.
