GOLDEN SUNS ELIMINATE SOUTHERN ARKANSAS, ADVANCE TO REGIONAL FINAL

EDMOND, Okla.– Gaby Vasquez's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh lifted the No. 12 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (46-14) to a 4-3 walk-off win over No. 17 Southern Arkansas (46-13) on Friday in an elimination contest at the NCAA Central Region I Championship.

  • The Golden Suns will face top-ranked Central Oklahoma in the regional championship tomorrow at noon. Tech will need to win twice in order to advance to super regionals.
