Sarah Coronado was honored as Player of the Week by the Great American Conference, the league office announced Monday.
Coronado had a career weekend last Friday and Saturday as the Golden Suns swept Northwestern Oklahoma. On Friday she notched ten RBIs in two games, a new career high, and also earned her first career grand slam in Game 1. Coronado earned another five RBIs on Saturday with one coming in Game 3 and another four coming in Game 4. She went 10-12 overall on the weekend and also scored ten times. Coronado is currently second on the team in RBIs with 41 on the season and trails leader
