RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech senior short stop Sarah Coronado was honored as Player of the Week by the Great American Conference, the league office announced Monday.

Coronado had a career weekend last Friday and Saturday as the Golden Suns swept Northwestern Oklahoma. On Friday she notched ten RBIs in two games, a new career high, and also earned her first career grand slam in Game 1. Coronado earned another five RBIs on Saturday with one coming in Game 3 and another four coming in Game 4. She went 10-12 overall on the weekend and also scored ten times. Coronado is currently second on the team in RBIs with 41 on the season and trails leader Paty Loredo by just one run.

The Golden Suns travel to Searcy tomorrow as they take on Harding in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
