WONDER BOYS COMPLETE SWEEP OF REDDIES

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Two-run home runs from Tristan Thomas and Dylan McDearmon helped fuel the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boy baseball team (9-6, 5-1 Great American Conference) to an 8-3 win over Henderson State (3-9, 0-6 GAC) securing the series sweep on Monday afternoon at Baswell Field.

  • Wonder Boys scored their first runs of the game on a two-run home run from Thomas in the fourth innings. Tech took the lead in the fifth innings after McDearmon hit a two-run shot over the left field wall, his fifth home run of the season.
  • Harry Gard went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Gard also stole his sixth base of the season.
  • Thomas went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.
