GOLDEN SUNS SPLIT HOME OPENER

BENTONVILLE, Ark.– Paty Loredo hit a three-run home run in the fifth to help the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns pick up a 14-4 victory over Minnesota State (4-3). However, two-run home runs from Megan Goodnight and Gabby Vasquez were not enough in the nightcap to propel the Suns to victory as they dropped the second game 8-7 to Upper Iowa on Sunday afternoon at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex.

  • Paty Loredo ended the game with a walk-off home run in the fifth to give the Golden Suns the win. Loredo Went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBIs.
