DURANT, Okla. – Mark Vaughn went a combined 8-for-9 on the day with three home runs and six runs batted in as the Arkansas Tech Baseball team (23-13, 16-8 GAC) picked up a pair of wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State (16-21, 11-13 GAC) on Monday afternoon at The Ballpark in Durant. The Wonder Boys took the opening game 16-3 and won the nightcap 10-8 in extra innings.

- Tech hit five home runs, the most in a game since the Wonder Boys hit seven home runs against Harding on April 24, 2012. Vaughn led the charge, hitting three home runs on his way to recording his first career multi-home run game. Hickerson hit his fifth home run of the season in the second inning, while Post hit his first career home run in the sixth inning.
- Vaughn's three home runs are the most in a game for Arkansas Tech since Zach Klockowski hit three home runs against Southwestern Oklahoma State on Feb. 17 last season. The previous record was held by Colt Loehrs' three home runs against Christian Brothers on March 27, 2010.
- Both Hickerson and Vaughn notched their team-high tenth multi-RBI game of the season, while Hickerson also recorded his team-high 17th multi-hit game of the season.
