WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team's offense exploded for 12 runs in the opener, boosting the Golden Suns (39-17, 30-14) to a doubleheader split with Southwestern Oklahoma (13-38, 13-28) on Saturday, winning the opener 12-3 in six innings and falling 2-1 in the nightcap.
