SUNS SPLIT WITH FOURTH-RANKED SOUTHERN ARKANSAS

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. Kristen Dempsey and Bailey Shaffer combined on a shutout in the final game of the series, helping the No. 21 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (36-16, 27-13 Great American Conference) salvage a doubleheader split with No. 4 Southern Arkansas (47-5, 36-4 Great American Conference)
