BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech dropped a 5-1 decision to Southeastern Oklahoma on Friday, knocking the Golden Suns out of the Great American Conference Women's Tennis Championships in the semifinals.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Southeastern Oklahoma took the first two points of the dual, winning matches in the first and third positions.
• Annabel Rowlands and Kami Ward salvaged the final doubles point for the Golden Suns, winning the No. 2 doubles match 8-5 for the duo's third consecutive win and team-leading eighth victory this spring.
• The Savage Storm ended the dual and earned a spot in the conference tournament championship match with three consecutive points to open singles play. Both Katharina Drebka and Teresa Sanchez were defeated by nationally ranked opponents.
