WONDER BOYS COMPLETE SWEEP OF TIGERS

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech claimed its first three-game sweep of the season on Saturday, defeating East Central, 15-5 and 14-6, at Tech Field. The Wonder Boys finish the three games with a combined eight home runs and 41 runs scored, the most runs scored in a three-game span since 2011.

  • Arkansas Tech scored a season high in runs to win the first game of the doubleheader. The Wonder Boys' also claimed their sixth consecutive series victory with the 10-run win.
  • Tech stole a season-high six bases, including two from Vaughn. Vaughn leads the Wonder Boys this season with eight stolen bases on eight attempts.
  • Stroth finished with a team-high four hits, including his second home run of the season. He also scored three runs and batted in three runs.
