BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Bailey Shaffer picked up a pair of wins, while
Paige Mendoza had five hits and
Janie Knowles had four as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (5-1) swept a pair of wins on the opening day of the UAM Division II Softball Challenge, topping Northwest Missouri 11-6 in the opener before beating Emporia State 9-5 in the day's finale.
