RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - A two-home run, five-RBI performance from
Cody Wescott, and a 3-5 effort with four runs batted in from Mark Vaugh helped Arkansas Tech secure its second win of the season on Saturday, as the Wonder Boys defeated Emporia State, 13-7.

- Wescott posted his second career two-home run game as a Wonder Boy, and his five runs batted in are a career high. Vaughn batted in four runs in a game for the fourth time in his Arkansas Tech career.
- The Wonder Boys forced Emporia State to use seven different pitchers in the contest. Tech used three pitchers in the victory, including Harte is in first start as a Wonder Boy. Harte went 6.1 innings on the mound, allowing six runs and striking out eight batters.
- Jason Hastings relieved Harte in the seventh inning and allowed one run in 0.2 innings. Isaac Hale closed out the game for the Wonder Boys with two scoreless innings and two strikeouts.
- The Wonder Boys were 4-5 on stolen base attempts, while ESU did not attempt to steal.
